About

The Vicious Betty’s Pin Up Dolls was founded in 2005 by Pin Up model, Ms. Vicious and her sister Christy J. At a young age the sisters fell in love with anything retro! But the time between 1940 and 1960 had a special place in their hearts!  From the cars to the music, fashion, art, and hair do’s…right down to the over all style of acting, media and advertisements drew the girls in.  But let’s face it Cats ‘n Kittens, the Pin Ups from that time were too hot to handle, with curves to shock your nerves! “The first time I laid eyes on the Vargas Girls I just about lost my mind! These days, vintage art and Pin Ups are an inspiration to all of us. From bombshells like Barbara Payton and Joi Lansing to more common names like Bettie Page and Jayne Mansfield, these Dolls screamed glamour, sexuality and confidence! My sister and I have always gone to car shows and concerts but we never realized how big of an underground scene there really is for this kind of stuff. Once we discovered the modern Pin Up, we never looked back! These sexy women are working harder than ever to keep the class and style alive! We started The Vicious Bettys Pin Up Dolls at first to promote the modern Pin Up models we love and respect. But over the years I’ve met so many amazing people who, like our selves, have a deep passion for Rockabilly music, hot rods, swing dancing, malt shops, greasers, pop, pin curls, and keeping the old school alive! My sister has since moved on to other things, but is still a huge supporter. Fellow Pin Up Tawnie Trouble and I now run things together. We have a lot of love and respect for these companies, models, car clubs and individuals doing their thing to keep an underground lifestyle rockin’ n rollin’! We wanted to spread the word about all of these fabulous models and such, and so The Vicious Betty’s Pin Up Dolls & Blog was born! My blog features interviews, photos, videos and announcements about what the VBPinUp Dolls are involved with, and also gives me an opportunity to share with everyone the companies we work with and support. Tawnie Trouble works on the event side of things. We do meet and greets, booth signings, host, promote and put on all kinds of events…from car shows, to live music, pin up contests and everything in between. One thing we take a special interest in is charity events. We love to help people, and if we can make a difference and help raise money or spread the word about a topic we are there! We are all about getting out there and talking to people, and networking. It has been a crazy 5 years and we are so excited to see what the future brings!” –Betty Black a.k.a.Ms. Vicious
